Indore: The Madhya Pradesh government has made significant budgetary provisions to ensure a grand, safe, and well-organized Simhastha Mahaparv 2028. Focus on Roads, Connectivity, and Safe Pilgrim Movement

The approved projects aim to strengthen infrastructure in the Simhastha region, with a special emphasis on smooth traffic management, safe movement of devotees, and improved city connectivity. Key projects include:

  • Six-lane expansion of Indore-Ujjain route – Estimated cost: ₹1,164 crore
  • Indore-Ujjain Greenfield Highway – Estimated cost: ₹1,370 crore
  • Ujjain Bypass Development – Estimated cost: ₹701 crore

Once completed, these projects will facilitate the movement of lakhs of devotees during the festival and significantly reduce traffic congestion.
