H.G Infra emerges as L1 bidder for 1,827 INR-Crore Odisha road project

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has declared H.G Infra Engineering Ltd as the lowest (L-1) bidder for the Capital Region Ring road project in Odisha. The project carries an estimated 1,827 INR-Crore construction cost. H.G Infra submitted a bid of 1,582.11 INR-Crore, excluding applicable taxes. Meanwhile, authorities confirmed the award on Wednesday, February 25.

The Odisha Capital Region Ring Road will span nearly 40.33 Km from Gobindpur on NH-55 to Tangi near Bandola Toll Plaza on NH-16. Furthermore, the work will be carried out under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) to develop a six-lane access-controlled highway. The scope also includes detailed engineering design, construction and related roadworks. H.G Infra will further execute the road project within an estimated 910 days from the appointed date.

This H.G Infra road project forms part of NHAI’s infrastructure push to enhance connectivity in Odisha’s capital region and support freight movement along key national corridors. Moreover, the H.G. road project will lower travel time. It will ease congestion across key corridors. It will also improve logistics efficiency in the state through access-controlled highway expansion.
