UP swing in infra development in state in 9 Years

Uttar Pradesh has reported its biggest jump in infrastructure growth in nine years, backed by large-scale expansion of expressways, roads, airports, rail corridors and waterways. The state accounts for 55% of India’s expressway network, giving it a stronger position in freight and passenger movement.While several big-ticket projects have already been commissioned and benefiting the residents, many are in the final stages of completion. Jewar airport in Greater Noida will be inaugurated this week, while Ganga Expressway and Lucknow-Kanpur expressway could be unveiled over the next few weeks, improving the connectivity and accessibility of the state further.
