One of the key projects planned by the Greater Noida Authority is the construction of a dedicated bus-way along the 130-metre-wide main road. This new corridor is expected to improve public transport access to the airport and reduce traffic congestion in the area. The planned bus-way will be around 23 kilometres long and is estimated to cost about Rs 25 crore. The project department has already issued the tender for its construction. The main goal of this project is to provide faster and smoother public transport services for passengers travelling to and from the airport Separate bus stops will also be developed along the route so passengers can easily access bus services. Authorities also plan to deploy the required staff to ensure smooth bus operations and efficient management of the corridor. Once completed, this link will provide direct connectivity to Yamuna City and the airport for people living in Greater Noida West, Ghaziabad and areas like Crossing Republic. Authorities believe these projects will significantly improve traffic movement in the region and make travel to the airport faster and more convenient.
