After the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway did so well, the government of Uttar Pradesh is quickly moving forward with another big road project. They are building a new expressway that will connect Saharanpur and Haridwar. This road is meant to make travel, business, and trips to holy sites much easier. Plus, they are rushing to finish about Rs 10000 crore worth of projects in Uttarakhand and nearby areas, with tough deadlines set because of the upcoming elections. This brand-new, high-speed, six-lane road will link Saharanpur and Haridwar. It’s about 50.7 km long and runs from Halgoya in Saharanpur to Bahadrabad in Haridwar. It avoids busy places like Roorkee, which should save a lot of travel time and reduce the traffic jams we see on current roads.
