Dorf Ketal arm plans ₹30,000 crore hyperscale data centre park in Maharashtra

Trentar Private Limited intends to invest ₹30,000 crore for a 500 MW green data centre park in Maharashtra. The company is assessing land options and aims to finalize evaluations within a month. An MoU with the Maharashtra government is expected to be signed soon. Permissions and approvals will be facilitated by the state government for the project under existing regulations.

 

Mumbai: Trentar Private Limited, the technology and infrastructure arm of Dorf Ketal Chemicals, plans to invest ₹30,000 crore to develop a 500 MW green integrated hyperscale data centre park in Maharashtra, sources aware of the development told ET.Dorf Ketal Chemicals is a player in the specialty engineered chemistries segment for the refining and petrochemical industries.

The company may shortly sign an MoU with Maharashtra for setting up the facility, sources added. Dorf Ketal Chemicals did not reply to an email query.
“The company is evaluating land parcels across Maharashtra and expects to complete the evaluation in about a month,” said an industry executive, adding that the state government will facilitate coordination for applicable permissions, registrations, approvals, clearances and incentives under prevailing policies and regulations.
