The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) welcomed a delegation from the Republic of Korea at the India Global Forum 2025, which was organised in Mumbai. The delegation, consisting of top government officials, business leaders and urban experts, met with Dr Sanjay Mukherjee, Metropolitan Commissioner of MMRDA, to discuss areas of collaboration in infrastructure, technology, and investment in the Mumbai 3.0 vision.
The visit follows a Memorandum of Understanding signed between MMRDA and the World Smart Cities Forum (WSCF) last year at Davos, where Mumbai became a member of the Global Twin Cities Platform. According to MMRDA officials, the platform is to create an environment that promotes cooperation between cities that lead in innovation, sustainability and technology-driven governance.
