Lucknow Link Expressway
The Uttar Pradesh government is set to build a 6-lane Lucknow Link Expressway, aimed at reducing traffic congestion in the capital and connecting Purvanchal directly to Delhi NCR.
Length of expressway
The 50.94 km long Lucknow Link Expressway will connect the Agra-Lucknow Expressway with the Purvanchal Expressway.
Relief from traffic
Currently, vehicles traveling from western UP to Purvanchal face heavy traffic around Lucknow city. Once completed, long-distance vehicles will bypass city congestion, ensuring a faster and safer journey.
Smooth connectivity
The new link will make this connection even smoother, benefiting cities like Barabanki, Amethi, Ayodhya, Sultanpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Azamgarh, Mau, and Ghazipur.
