Most PPP projects are won or lost after the contract is signed.
While governments and advisors spend months structuring PPP projects, the real test begins during the concession period — when risk allocation, performance monitoring, stakeholder coordination, and dispute management determine whether the project delivers real public value.
I will be speaking at Providence II – PPP Summit 2026, organized by DEVERUS, in Mumbai on 13 March 2026, where I will conduct a Master Class on “ Post-Award Contract Management in PPP.”
The discussion will particularly explore PPP opportunities in Education and Sports infrastructure — sectors where India has immense potential to unlock value through well-structured partnerships between government and the private sector.
Key themes of the session will include:
• Managing risks across the concession lifecycle
* Strengthening monitoring and performance frameworks
* Managing stakeholder relationships and disputes
* Designing effective exit strategies at the end of concession
With 6500+ professionals trained over the years by me in Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh Malawi BIMSTEC countries as well as in India ( including many State Governments ) , I look forward to engaging with policy makers, urban local bodies, corporates, investors and PPP professionals to strengthen the PPP ecosystem in India.
