Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Real Estate Regulatory Authority and the state urban development department have begun integrating GujRERA-registered real estate projects with town planning and development plan data, with monitoring through the PM Gati Shakti platform to improve service delivery.GujRERA, set up under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, oversees registration of real estate projects and agents in the state and handles regulation, monitoring and grievance redressal for registered projects. As part of project registration, promoters currently use Google-based services to define project boundaries and upload project information on the GujRERA portal. These services are also used to show project boundaries on maps, geo-fence project sites, capture geo-tagged photographs and search administrative boundaries accessible through GujRERA portal.
