Noida and Greater Noida commuters are getting a huge upgrade in connectivity. The Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) is planning a new Metro line with four stations in Phase 1. This is happening right after they approved the Aqua Line extension, which will directly link Noida to Delhi through Botanical Garden. Delhi-NCR commuters will get a big relief from the upcoming metro stations connecting Delhi from Noida and Greater Noida. The first part of the Greater Noida West corridor has been revised. Instead of the 11 stations originally planned, it will now only include four. These stations will be at key residential and travel spots: Sector 61, Sector 70, Sector 123, and Greater Noida Sector 4 (Gaur Chowk). The new line will connect with the Delhi Metro Blue Line at Sector 61. This means passengers traveling between Noida, Greater Noida, and Delhi can switch trains easily. This connection is expected to significantly cut down travel time and make daily commutes much more convenient.

Aqua Line is also getting an 11.56 km extension, running from Sector 142 to Botanical Garden. This will directly link Noida and Greater Noida with Delhi. When finished, it’s expected to help more than 4 lakh daily commuters and vastly improve how easy it is to use public transport in the area.
