Rs 1,500 Crore Earmarked For Upgrading Rajasthan’s Industrial Infrastructure In FY27

The Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) will spend Rs 1,500 crore in the upcoming financial year to develop and modernise industrial areas across the state, a senior official has said.

RIICO, which is responsible for setting up industrial zones and extending financial support to industries, is planning a major infrastructure push aimed at improving facilities within these clusters.

“The expenditure aims to strengthen the infrastructure within these industrial zones,” the official said.

“This initiative ensures the modern and robust development of essential infrastructure, including uninterrupted power supply, the construction and improvement of roads, fire safety facilities, and other necessary amenities,” the official added.

As part of the plan, RIICO will allocate Rs 25 crore towards establishing 12 new fire stations and purchasing 37 fire tenders to bolster safety at industrial units.

The fire stations will come up in Bhiwadi (Chopanki, Khushkhera), Bikaner (Karni Industrial Area Phase I and II), Boranada, Churu, Jaipur (Jaitpura), Jodhpur (Basni), Nagaur (IID Centre and SGC Parbatsar), Sawai Madhopur (Kherda, Tonk, Hindaun City), and Sri Ganganagar (Hanumangarh Industrial Area Phase II).
