This project, worth around Rs 15,000 crore, is expected to completely change the way people travel across Haryana, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh. At present, travelling between Gurugram and Noida takes around 1.5 to 2 hours by road due to heavy traffic and congestion. Once the corridor becomes operational, this journey will be reduced to just 38–40 minutes. Similarly, the Gurugram to Faridabad route, which currently takes over an hour, will be completed in nearly 20 minutes.

The 64-km-long corridor will have 18 modern stations and will run high-speed Namo Bharat trains at speeds of up to 180 km/h. Trains will be available every 5 to 7 minutes, making daily commuting faster and more reliable while reducing pressure on Delhi-NCR roads.

A key feature of this project is its “dual model” system, where both high-speed RRTS trains and metro services will run on the same track. This integrated system will help save land and reduce construction costs while improving connectivity.

The Gurugram section will be around 14.5 km long, connecting key areas like IFFCO Chowk, Millenium City Centre, Sector-52, and Gwal Pahari. The Faridabad section will be 16 km long, covering densely populated areas such as NIT, Bata Chowk, and Sainik Colony. In Noida and Greater Noida, the line will connect through the FNG Expressway and end at Surajpur Junction.
