Driven by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s vision of tourism as a sustainable economic engine, the state has rolled out the AP Tourism Policy 2024-29 to encourage large-scale private participation through public-private partnerships, policy incentives and infrastructure upgrades.

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has also played an active role in shaping proposals related to tourism infrastructure and destination promotion.

Officials said 117 Memorandums of Understanding signed over the past two years are expected to create employment opportunities for nearly 1,22,637 people.

To attract investors, the government has granted industrial status to tourism projects and introduced incentives including capital subsidies, SGST reimbursements and stamp duty exemptions.

A dedicated Tourism Land Allotment Policy has also been introduced to streamline project approvals and land allocation.
