Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday invited UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to attend the BRICS Summit, which India is set to host later this year, during a meeting on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in Evian, France.
The meeting was the third between the two leaders in 2026, reflecting the strength of the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. They reviewed progress in bilateral cooperation across sectors including technology, trade, investment, energy and defence, building on the outcomes of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s visit to India in January and Modi’s visit to the UAE in May.
