KEC International bags ₹1,180 crore orders, including first data centre T&D project

KEC International Limited on Tuesday said it has secured new orders worth ₹1,180 crore across its transmission and distribution (T&D), renewables, civil, and cables & conductors businesses, including its first transmission line project to power a data centre in India.The latest wins take the company’s FY27 year-to-date order intake to over ₹5,200 crore.

In the T&D segment, KEC won a 400 kV transmission line project in Western India for evacuation of power to a data centre, along with orders for the supply of transmission line towers in the Middle East and towers, hardware and poles in the Americas.

The company’s renewables business secured a 200+ MW solar photovoltaic project in Western India from an existing private sector client, while the civil business received an order for additional civil and structural works for a 150 MW thermal power plant in Eastern India.Its cables and conductors business also won multiple domestic and international orders.

“The T&D business has secured its first transmission line order for evacuation of power to a Data Centre from a reputed private developer. This order marks an important milestone for the T&D business in supporting the power infrastructure needs of the growing Data Centre segment,” said Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International.
