The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has opened applications for 19 institutional plots — 10 sites for schools and nine for corporate offices — as development activity gathers pace around the Noida International Airport.
The plots are spread across Sectors 17, 18, 20 and 22E. Applications can be submitted till October 16. The school plots will be auctioned on November 20 and the corporate office plots on November 23, YEIDA officials said.
School plots across four sectors
The school plots range from 8,000 square metres (sqm) to 14,100 sqm, with reserve prices ranging from Rs 14.22 crore to Rs 23.41 crore, depending on their size and location.
Applicants will have to deposit 10 percent of the reserve price as the registration amount.Two school plots, each measuring 8,000 sqm, are in Sectors 17 and 20. Sector 18 has four plots measuring 14,100 sqm and 9,400 sqm.
Sector 20 also has an 8,400-sq-m plot, while three plots are on offer in Sector 22E. These include one land parcel measuring 10,127 sqm and two measuring 10,115 sqm each.
The registration amount for the school plots ranges from Rs 1.42 crore to Rs 2.34 crore. The largest school plot, measuring 14,100 sq m in Sector 18, has a reserve price of Rs 23.41 crore.
Corporate office plots
YEIDA has nine corporate offices plots in Sector 22E, which has been earmarked for institutional and corporate-office development.
Each of the plot measures 1,000 sqm. Eight plots have a reserve price of Rs 5.44 crore each, while one has a reserve price of Rs 6 crore.
“The latest offering adds institutional and commercial land to the development pipeline around the airport, where residential, commercial and other supporting infrastructure is also being planned. The availability of school and office sites could help expand the social and employment infrastructure serving the emerging urban areas around the airport,” a YEIDA official said.
He said the e-auction route means the final allotment prices for the plots could be higher than their respective reserve prices, depending on bidding interest.
The Noida International Airport has increased attention on the Yamuna Expressway region, with developers and businesses evaluating land and development opportunities along the airport-led growth corridor.
The latest YEIDA scheme is focused on supporting institutional and corporate uses within this expanding development zone.
