Back in 2023, I had the opportunity to be associated with the financial appraisal of this project while serving as Team Leader / PPP Expert of the Project Management Unit (PMU) at the PPP Cell, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, through a Big Four consulting firm.
It is satisfying to see a project move from financial appraisal and PPP structuring towards physical implementation.
The Prayagraj Ropeway demonstrates how Public–Private Partnerships can support religious tourism, improve urban connectivity and create modern infrastructure for pilgrims and visitors.
